- NSCN invites all managers and professional practice leaders to our Transition to Practice Webinar on June 28th at 1:30 pm to help them understand their accountabilities related to supporting newly licensed international nurses transition to practice.
- RNs and NPs who want to perform Capacity Assessments under the Adult Capacity and Decision-making Act (ACDMA) are required to complete a specific training course under the direction of the Office of the Public Trustee. The next course is October 12 and 13, 2023. Email for more details.
- Read our new Currency of Practice: Practice Scenario, which helps nurses understand how many nursing practice hours are required to reactivate their licence.
- View our new Practice Hours Assessment Tool, which assists nurses in determining if they can count their practice hours as nursing practice or if they need additional clarity from NSCN on their individual role.
- June’s practice support tool is the Volunteerism Practice Guideline, which helps nurses understand their accountabilities when acting in the role of a nurse volunteer.
