NSCN is pleased to share the latest episode of the Chats on Change with Karen Oldfield podcast, which features our CEO & Registrar, Sue Smith.
In the episode, Sue discusses the history of NSCN, our role in nursing regulation, and our efforts in becoming one unified nursing regulator in 2019. She also sheds light on our ongoing efforts to streamline our registration and licensure processes, beginning with supporting the COVID-19 pandemic to our current approach in addressing the growing shortage of nurses in Nova Scotia. Sue also highlights the importance of collaboration with health system partners to streamline processes and facilitate the integration of international nurses into the workforce.
