NSCN was pleased to host the Supporting Professional Practice in Nursing Workshop on May 13 at the Best Western Plus in Dartmouth. We had more than 130 nurse and other health professional Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators, Professional Practice Leads and others that support nurses in professional practice attend the event.
The workshop was a result of our analysis of practice consultations and needs assessment survey conducted last fall, which identified that a workshop would be welcomed and well attended.
Topics at the workshop included Everyday Leadership, Transition to Practice, Sexual Misconduct Standard of Practice, and the Optimization of Scope (Three-Factor Framework). NSCN was delighted to have creative artist, Ashton Rodenhiser from Minds Eye Creative there to perfectly capture the sessions through illustration.
