We developed this fact sheet to emphasize a nurse’s mandatory duty to report sexual misconduct if they have reasonable grounds to suspect that the conduct of a regulated health care professional or unregulated care provider constitutes sexual misconduct. Our fact sheet also provides the public, nurses and others with key information about how to report sexual misconduct through the appropriate channels to protect the public.
