Social Media Practice Guideline

Nurses are accountable to know how their employer policy, standards of practice, code of ethics and practice guidelines apply to social media use. There are benefits to social media use but also many potential risks to clients, nurses and the profession. We developed the Social Media Practice Guideline to help nurses understand their accountabilities related to social media and identify strategies to minimize risk and continue to meet their standards of practice.
